The Steamship Sir Walter Scot needs your help to allow her to continue to ply Loch Katrine for the pleasure of the many visitors from home and overseas and to give these visitors the opportunity to experience the silent progress of steam power as she quietly glides her way along the loch in some of the most beautiful surroundings in the country.

Please help the Trust to pay for the refit and the continuing upkeep of the ship by becoming a Friend of The Steamship Sir Walter Scott. Not only will you be helping to keep this unique piece of History alive, but you will receive additional benefits as detailed below. Benefits of Membership

All members will receive an electronic News Letter about the Steamship Sir Walter Scott and matters concerning the surrounds of Loch Katrine at least three times a year. They will have access to the bridge and engine room on Sir Walter Scott (by previous appointment) during cruises. They may have one free tea or coffee per member per visit on any of the Trust’s ships or in the Anchors Rest Restaurant . They will have free entry to the new deck cabin on the Sir Walter Scott and will receive invitations to Friends only cruises. They will be eligible to vote at all General Meetings and to be elected to the Friends’ Committee
In addition they will be invited to join ‘Friends’ Cruises on Sir Walter Scott where the Friend will receive a free ticket (but not their guests) – Friends may bring as many guests as they wish. When booking tickets, Friends will be asked to prepay for the buffet lunch or the dinner that will be served on the cruise.

Subscriptions

Ordinary membership is for people aged over 18 and the annual subscription is £25.
Family membership is for family groups of not more than two adults (over 18) and their children; (Children will only have access to the bridge or the engine room one at a time and must be accompanied by an adult family member) Their annual subscription is £40
Their Membership cards will be sent electronically.

Life Membership is for people aged over 18 years. In addition to the benefits noted above, Additional benefits: Life Members will receive a print of the Sir Walter Scott, an illuminated scroll and their Membership card will be Lapel Pin of the steamship.

The life subscription is a one off payment of £750 for individuals or £1200 for families.

Corporate Membership is open to groups, clubs, companies, firms, societies, institutions and other organisations:
The benefits of ordinary membership is extended to all members or employees of the Corporate bodies – they must bring corporate ID to be granted these when visiting Loch Katrine.

Additional benefits: the Organisation’s name will be listed (with membership year) on a Sponsors Board displayed at Trossachs Pier. There will be reciprocal web links between the Corporate members web site and SWS web sites. The MD or Chairman of the organisation will receive a print of SWS plus an Illuminated Scroll and Corporate Friends will be able to hire the Sir Walter Scott at reduced rates for their exclusive use. The SWS Ltd caterers will supply refreshments and meals as required.

Corporate subscription is a minimum of £1000 p.a.
